Following the successful completion of exploration at the Lunjkovec-Kutnjak geothermal field in the Municipality of Mali Bukovec, conducted by the public company Bukotermal, Varaždin County Prefect Anđelko Stričak, along with his associates, visited Sárvár in Hungary. A working meeting was held there with the leadership of Aquaprofit, one of the world's leading companies in water management, including geothermal resources.

Presenting the Aquaprofit corporation, he emphasized their extensive experience in project implementation, highlighting geothermal resource utilization as one of their key areas of expertise.
Prefect Stričak explained that the Bukotermal project has reached the phase of creating a conceptual design to exploit the potential of geothermal water in the region.
"This is a major project and a significant challenge for us, as it is the first time we are undertaking something like this. Every experience is valuable, and we follow the principle of leveraging and applying best practices. That is why we are here—to learn how to best utilize the geothermal water potential in the Mali Bukovec area," said the prefect, expressing gratitude for the shared experiences and information.
The Mayor of the Municipality of Mali Bukovec, Darko Marković, presented the results achieved so far and the opportunities for further development of the municipality.
